Bendigo's David Spence to head up new GFG : UniCARD Customer Forum

15 December 2004 / Media Release

At the GFG customer conference in October a GFG-GFG:UniCARD customer forum was formed, with David Spence of Bendigo Bank elected as the group's first chairman.

A key objective of the new customer forum is to foster sharing of experiences between customers, influence product direction, and promote collaboration on new product features and functions.

GFG's Liesel Kuhn has been appointed as program manager for the GFG : UniCARD customer forum. Liesel Kuhn is a systems analyst with more than 10 years GFG:UniCARD experience. She is part of the GFG : UniCARD product governance team and plays a key role in QA management of all enhancements and development of the GFG:UniCARD product.

Kuhn says she will be working closely with David Spence of Bendigo Bank to help achieve the two main goals agreed for the customer forum during 2005: improved communication between users, and improved participated by users in decision making around product development and management.

GFG's sales and marketing manager Marie Tamplin-Woods says the GFG:UniCARD Customer Forum will be extremely valuable from GFG's perspective, ensuring customers play an active and dynamic role in product development.

"GFG:UniCARD has critical mass in terms of the number of customers worldwide. Going forward, our strategy is not to be a service-heavy development house. We want - and our customers want - a mature, consolidated product with new features and functions introduced to meet needs across the market." Marie Tamplin-Woods said.
